Surabaya (ANTARA) – One of the five star hotels in Surabaya Grand Swiss-Belhotel Darmo introduces three of its signature dishes, namely Rawon kikil, Bintoro fried rice And Pan seared salmonwhich comes with an authentic blend of natural spices and high quality food ingredients.
Grand Swiss-Belhotel Executive Chef Darmo Heri Purwanto said that for the rawon dish, his party combines rawon sauce which is rich in spices with soft kikil.
“The process of cooking kikil for two to three hours produces a soft kikil texture. Then, to produce a tasty rawon sauce, it is mixed with shrimp stock so that it has a delicious taste,” said Chef Heri in a written statement in Surabaya, Sunday.
“What makes this dish unique is that it doesn’t use meat but gravel,” he added.
Next menu, Bintoro fried ricewhich is a dish that combines fried rice with grilled ribs.
“For spicy food lovers, you can ask for a certain level of spiciness,” he said.
Then, what is no less unique is Pan seared salmonaccompanied by uduk rice, sambal matah and stir-fried vegetables.
“Salmon is fried using a special technique until it has a crispy texture on the outside and is perfectly cooked on the inside,” he said.
Meanwhile, General Manager of Grand Swiss-Belhotel Darmo Diaz Yonadie said that all the menus were inspired by the diversity of Indonesian flavors.
“We really hope that the presence of these three menus will attract tourists visiting Surabaya,” he said.
