Flat Nastar Recipe for Christmas, Practically Only Uses 7 Ingredients


KOMPAS.com – Christmas Eve is always synonymous with special dishes, and pineapple is one of the classic cakes that cannot be absent.

This time, try a different creation with flat nastar which is practical and only requires seven ingredients.

With its soft texture and sweet pineapple jam filling, this cake is not easy to make, but it also delivers deliciousness that everyone will love.

Pineapple Ingredients:

  • 250 grams of low protein wheat flour
  • 175 grams of butter
  • 60 grams of powdered sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 150 grams pineapple jam

How to make pineapple:

1. Beat butter with eggs, powdered sugar and vanilla paste until soft, then add flour and baking soda. Stir all the ingredients until the mixture is evenly mixed.

2. Roll the dough until it is 1/2 centimeter thick, then mold the pineapple into a round or heart shape. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet that has been smeared with margarine, then bake in the oven at 150 degrees Celsius for around 30 minutes.

3. Take one cake and spread the top with pineapple jam, then cover the pineapple jam again with another piece of cake. Press so that the cake and jam adhere, then serve
