Jakarta –
Heart health must always be maintained to avoid chronic diseases. One way is to maintain your diet, including consuming red foods.
The heart is a vital organ that works non-stop and plays an important role in pumping blood throughout the body. This work is done to support someone’s survival.
Therefore, it is appropriate to maintain heart health to avoid various dangerous diseases. One of the main ways to maintain heart health is by adopting a healthy and optimal diet.
In this case, red foods are recommended for consumption. Red foods, such as tomatoes, watermelon and apricots, contain carotenoid pigments, anthocyanins and betacyanins which are rich in antioxidants for heart health.
Foods of this color can also help reduce oxidative stress, which is associated with cardiovascular disease.
Some red foods also produce nitrogen oxide in the body, a molecule that helps dilate blood vessels and reduce blood pressure. Therefore, don’t just focus on consuming green foods, but start relying on your intake of red foods.
