- 2 medium sized tilapia fish (cut into pieces)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 lime
- 2 lime leaves
- 1 tomato (cut into pieces)
- 4 red chilies (long slices)
- 4 starfruit (slit lengthwise)
- 4 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 500 milliliters of water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 5 sprigs of basil (pick the leaves)
- 300 milliliters cooking oil
Ground spices:
- 6 red onions
- 3 cloves of garlic

How to make tilapia basil stew:
1. Clean the fish then coat with a teaspoon of salt and lime juice until evenly coated, then let sit for about 10 minutes.
2. Fry the fish in hot oil using medium heat until brown, then remove from heat and set aside.
3. In a separate pan, saute the ground spices with lime leaves until fragrant, then add the red chilies and tomatoes, then cook until wilted.
