KOMPAS.com – Mackerel is a rich source of protein, even the omega-3 content of this fish is said to be quite high.
Fresh mackerel generally has several signs, such as scales that are still firmly attached, eyes that are round and clear, flesh that is still elastic when pressed, and the smell is still fresh.
The following is a mackerel recipe that you can try, quoted from the book “Love to Eat Fish: 25 Tastes of Mackerel” by Lilly T. Erwin (2011) published by PT Gramedia Pustaka Utama.
