Some people consume dairy products because of their healthy benefits. However, there are also those who don’t consume it because they are considered unhealthy. Is that true?
Dairy products are very diverse, including milk, cheese, yogurt, butter, and others. Even though it is made from milk, which is actually a healthy drink product, there are also many milk products that have bad effects on health.
Types of dairy products that have the potential to increase cholesterol levels are cheese and butter. So, are dairy products really bad for your health? Alan Aragon, nutrition consultant for Men’s Health Magazine, says this is not the case.
Reporting from Muscle and Fitness (7/12), Aragon also said that concerns that dairy products could have a negative impact were exaggerated.

“Dairy products include a wide range of foods with varying effects. For example, butter is a dairy food and its effects are different from Greek yogurt,” he continued.
Aragon also concluded that dairy products provide more benefits than harm to human health. This was proven in a study of cheese.
“Even though cheese theoretically has a detrimental effect on blood pressure and blood lipid profiles, due to its high sodium and saturated fat content, the evidence shows that cheese consumption does not increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, coronary heart disease and stroke,” said Aragon.
