Easy Way to Peel Red Onions Without Making You Cry

However, the process of peeling shallots is often considered troublesome, especially if your eyes start to feel sore and watery.

This substance is released when onions are sliced ​​or crushed, and can irritate the eyes, causing a painful sensation.

How to peel red onions without making you cry

To avoid these two problems, here is an easy and practical way to peel and cut shallots without making you cry:

1. Soak shallots in boiling water

The first step is to soak the shallots in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. This process will make the outer skin of the onion softer so it is easy to peel.
