CULINARY regional specialties amaze tourists who are visiting the Island of the Gods. This variety of culinary delights was brought to Bali through a government program that develops the MSME sector. From thousands of participants, 10 of the best MSMEs were curated which present their own uniqueness.

MSMEs in the culinary sector that became champions and were invited to show off in the Pecatu, Badung, Bali area were Pempek Pistel Kiarin, Fairuziba Bolen Malang, and Bananania. Their booth was busy with visitors coming to the food exhibition location.

Without abandoning its characteristics, the various culinary delights produced are combined with a contemporary touch. Fairuziba Bolen Malang highlights the potential for the abundance of apples in Malang City to be used as a delicious and healthy filling for bolen. Pempek Pistel Kiarin innovates frozen pempek with practical and attractive packaging. Meanwhile, Banania processes bananas into various types of food, such as chips and cookies.

Culinary MSMEs dominate the MSME Level Up program. Lasting for five months, this program was attended by 8,248 MSMEs from various sectors. The majority of the culinary sector (67.1%), handicraft sector (12.2%), fashion (8.4%), leather crafts (1.4%), and 10.9% are engaged in other fields.
