Homemade French Fries Recipe, Crispy Snack When Relaxing


KOMPAS.com – If you usually buy ready-to-eat French fries or french fries frozen ready to fry, this time try making French fries at home.

Choose good quality potatoes and dry ones. Before processing, soak the potatoes in cold water or ice water for several hours before frying.

Material:

  • 1 kilogram of potatoes (peeled, cut lengthwise or according to taste)
  • Fine salt to taste
  • Parmesan cheese to taste (for sprinkling)
  • Sufficient cooking oil
  1. Soak peeled and cut potatoes in cold water or ice water for about two hours, then drain. Use a dry cloth or kitchen paper to dry the potatoes.
  2. Pour oil into a frying pan to heat over medium heat, fry the potatoes until half cooked, then remove and set aside. Let it sit, while adding salt to taste.
  3. Next, fry the soaked potatoes again using medium heat. Cook until cooked and golden yellow in color, drain.
  4. Serve the potatoes sprinkled with cheese or other ingredients according to taste.
