Christmas Cookie Recipe, a Special Dish for Family Gatherings

Christmas cookies ingredients:

  • 500 grams of medium protein wheat flour
  • 200 grams of powdered sugar
  • 226 grams of butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 40 grams of corn flour or cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Icing sugar ingredients:

  • 250 grams of powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon tartar
  • 1 egg white
  • Vanilla to taste

1. Stir the butter and white sugar using a mixer until fluffy and pale in color. Then add the eggs and vanilla, then stir again until evenly mixed.

2. Add the flour, cornstarch and salt to the egg mixture by sifting, then stir until all the ingredients are evenly mixed.

3. When the dough is ready, store the dough in the refrigerator for about an hour. After that, take out the dough and roll it until it is flat.

4. Mold the Christmas cake into the desired shape, then transfer the cake mixture into a baking pan that has been greased with butter. Bake the dough in the oven for about 12 minutes or until the cake is cooked.

5. Remove the cake from the oven, let the cake cool for a moment at room temperature, then decorate with icing sugar.
