Javanese Fried Noodles Recipe, Serve with Emping


KOMPAS.com – This Javanese street food fried noodle can be used as a delicious dinner menu idea.

Javanese fried noodles are made with shallots, garlic, candlenuts, red chilies, pepper, soy sauce, beef stock, sweet soy sauce, spring onions and chopped chilies.

Meanwhile, the filling for the Javanese fried noodles includes shrimp, beef hash, cabbage and carrots, served with fried shallots and fried chips.

Javanese fried noodle recipe

Material:

  • 300 grams of dried egg noodles
  • 5 tbsp cooking oil

Puree:

  • 4 red onions
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 3 candlenuts
  • 2 red chilies

Other ingredients:

  • 100 grams of shrimp, clean
  • 150 grams of beef hash, cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 tsp fine salt
  • 100 ml beef stock/water
  • 100 grams cabbage, roughly chopped
  • 50 grams of carrots, cut into matchsticks
  • 1 spring onion, cut obliquely
  • 1 tbsp chopped chili

Complementary:

  • 1 tbsp fried shallots
  • 50 grams of chopped chili

How to make Javanese fried noodles:

1. Boil water, boil noodles until soft. Lift, drain.

2. Heat oil, saute garlic, shallots, candlenuts and red chilies until fragrant. Add the shrimp and meat and cook until the shrimp changes color.

3. Add sweet soy sauce, pepper and salt, stir well. Pour in the broth, cook until the broth boils. Add cabbage, carrots, green onions, chopped chilies and noodles, stir well.

Cook until all ingredients are cooked. Lift.

4. Serve sprinkled with fried shallots and fried chips.
