KOMPAS.com – Marrow porridge is a warm and sweet snack that is perfect to eat in cold weather.
You can make marrow porridge at home, using rice flour and pandan leaves. Don’t stop stirring the porridge mixture to avoid lumps.

Material:
- 400 grams of rice flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 pandan leaves
- 2 liters of coconut milk from 1 coconut
Sugar sauce ingredients:
- 250 grams of brown sugar
- 100 grams of white sugar
- 400 milliliters of water
- 1 teaspoon sago flour (dissolve in a little water)
- Mix rice flour and coconut milk in a frying pan, stir well until the flour dissolves. Add salt and pandan leaves, cook and stir until boiling over low heat. If it thickens, remove from heat and let it sit.
- Sugar sauce. Add brown sugar, white sugar and water to a saucepan. Let it boil until the sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat, then strain and pour the sugar mixture back into the pan, cook until it boils. Pour in the sago flour and water solution slowly while continuing to stir.
- Put the marrow porridge into a serving bowl, then put the sugar sauce on top. Serve.
