Liputan6.com, Bandung – Salman ITB will hold the 1445H Adha Festival at the Salman ITB Mosque on Sunday, June 23 2024. There are a number of events, including giving away free satay.
Based on information from the 1445H Adha Festival event “A Way To Be Happy”, quoted Liputan6.comSaturday, June 22 2024, it was announced that the Adha Festival is an event held to celebrate the Eid al-Adha holiday.
This event was filled with a series of activities ranging from music performances, games stands, bazaar stands, to giving away thousands of free satay. In general, the Adha Festival will be enlivened with Performances, Exhibitions, Satisfy, Blood Donations and an MSME Bazaar.
“Satisfy is a free satay distribution program during the Adha Festival. Our target is that the number of satays that will be distributed will reach 10,000 satay skewers. Apart from that, we will also create atmosphere in the area around the Salman Mosque with decorations and providing seating, so that visitors can enjoy the food comfortably,” quoted from the Salman ITB event statement.
The event will also be enlivened by performances from the general congregation who volunteered to appear at the Adha Festival.
“To add to the excitement of the Adha Festival, we will hold an MSME Bazaar, where visitors can buy various things from the existing MSME stands. With these MSME stands, we hope to provide the best facilities for Adha Festival visitors.”
Previously, thousands of worshipers thronged the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) to carry out Eid al-Adha prayers which took place at the Basketball Court, Jalan Boulevard and Love Field, ITB Ganesha Campus, Bandung, Monday (17/6/24).
This Eid al-Adha prayer activity starts at 5.45 WIB. A total of 3,540 congregants attended the prayers which started at 6.45 WIB. There is also someone who acts as prayer leader, Oceanography student class of 2020, Fandy Hidayat. Fandy is also one of the young imams at the Salman Mosque.
