Each country has a type of coffee which of course tastes different from coffee from other countries or regions. This is influenced by the soil and altitude where the coffee is grown.

Apart from that, you need to know that there are two types of coffee, namely Arabica and Robusta. The way to differentiate is quite easy, you can see it from the shape of the coffee beans. Arabica has a slightly elongated, slightly flat seed shape and is quite large in size. Meanwhile, robusta is rounder and looks denser and is smaller in size compared to Arabica coffee.

You will often encounter this type of coffee if you are in a coffee shop. This coffee is black coffee which has a very strong and thick aroma. This coffee is produced from ground coffee bean extract. You can enjoy a cup of espresso by pressing the coffee grounds in the portafilter.

Espresso is also called a ‘shot’ because it is prepared purely from ground coffee and boiling water without the addition of milk, sweetener or creamer.
