Chocolate biscuit recipe
Material
- 340 grams of medium protein wheat flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 170 grams salted butter, room temperature
- 150 grams of small granulated sugar
- 90 grams of palm sugar (brown sugar)
- 1 whole egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 152 grams chocolate chips
How to make:
- Preheat the oven to 170°C.
- Beat granulated sugar, palm sugar and salted butter using a mixer until the texture is soft and pale, about 2 minutes. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, then beat until evenly mixed.
- Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Sift this mixture into the wet mixture, stir gently using a spatula until smooth.
- Add chocolate chips to the mixture, then stir until evenly mixed.
- Prepare a baking sheet with baking paper, take a spoonful of dough, then place it on the baking sheet with a distance between the cookies.
- Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes until the cookies look browned on the outside but are still soft on the inside.
- Cool cookies on a cooling rack before serving. Enjoy chocochip biscuits with tea or coffee!
