You can make your own juice at home so it’s guaranteed to be healthier. Here are some juice recipes that are easy to make:

1. Spinach and cucumber juice
Spinach and cucumber are both low in calories and high in fiber. Spinach provides nutrients such as iron, calcium, vitamins A and C. Meanwhile, cucumber contains vitamins K, C, potassium and magnesium.

Quoting from the Times of India, here is a recipe for spinach and cucumber juice.

Material:

200 g cucumber
50 g spinach
1 segment of ginger
1/2 tsp lemon juice
Sea salt to taste
Ice cubes as needed

All ingredients are washed and then cut into pieces. Prepare a blender and blend all the ingredients, except salt.

You can enjoy the juice straight away or filter it first. Add a little salt to enhance the taste.

2. Tomato juice

The following weight loss juice recipe is tomato juice. The fiber content can provide a feeling of fullness for longer.

Apart from that, according to Healthshots, tomatoes are high in vitamin C, potassium and lycopene, which is a type of antioxidant that can prevent cancer.

Material:

2-3 medium sized red tomatoes, cut into four parts
1 cucumber, cut into pieces
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 stalk celery, chopped
A pinch of salt
Ice cubes as needed

Puree all ingredients except salt using a blender. Pour and add a little salt to enhance the taste. The juice can be enjoyed straight away or filtered first.

3. Carrot and apple juice
The combination of carrots and apples will provide a good nutritional ‘combo’ for weight loss and overall health.

Material:

200 g carrots, peeled and cut into pieces
200 g apples, wash and cut into pieces
1 segment of ginger
Ice cubes as needed
Sea salt or Himalayan salt to taste

Blend all ingredients except salt. Serve by adding a little salt to make it more delicious.

4. Beet juice
Beet juice drinks can help you lose weight based on a study published in Atherosclerosis. The vitamin and mineral content in beets supports metabolism and body health. Pair with carrots and apples for extra nutrition.

Material:

2 medium sized beets
1 medium size carrot
1 apple
1 segment of ginger, peeled
Ice
Sea salt to taste

Wash the beets, carrots and apples and peel them. Chop the ingredients including ginger then blend while adding ice cubes. Pour the juice mixture into a serving glass and add a pinch of salt.

5. Ginger lemon juice

Lemon and ginger can not only be relied on when you are not feeling well, but also for losing weight.

Reporting from Healthline, several studies have found that ginger can boost metabolism, reduce appetite and lose weight.

Add lemon for a supply of antioxidants in the form of vitamin C, as well as spinach which is high in fiber and low in calories.

Material:

1 segment of ginger, peeled
1 lemon, squeezed
30 g spinach, wash
Honey to taste (optional)
Ice cubes as needed

Blend all ingredients except honey. You can filter the juice or consume it directly with the dregs. Add a little honey to make it more delicious.
