Jakarta (ANTARA) – A global beverage brand that provides raw materials for making innovative drinks, DaVinci Gourmet, which is part of the Kerry Group, announced the appointment of 2024 World Barista Champion Mikael Jasin, as its first ambassador for the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (APMEA) region. .
Mikael Jasin, who is widely known in the coffee world and three times Indonesian Barista Champion (2019, 2020, 2024), brings his expertise to this new partnership.

Over the next year, he will represent DaVinci Gourmet in various events, campaigns and innovation initiatives in the APMEA region.
The announcement was made at Omakafé, Jasin’s omakase cafe that serves specialty coffee experiences in a multi-course concept.
Together with his team, Jasin prepared a specially curated menu using DaVinci Gourmet products, showcasing the fusion of art, science and craftsmanship that is at the heart of the brand.

“With a variety of syrups and sauces on offer, DaVinci Gourmet gives baristas like me the tools to create innovative drinks that suit local tastes. “It’s like having a library of flavors that empowers creativity and helps create unique coffee stories in each market,” said Jasin.
Apart from his barista achievements, Jasin is also one of the founders of So So Good Coffee Company and CATUR Coffee Company, which focuses on unique fermentation of Indonesian coffee beans, barista training, and cafe consulting.
With a graduate background in marketing and expertise in customer experience and design thinking, Jasin combines art and strategy to drive the coffee industry forward.
