JAKARTA – As one of the sectors that supports the Indonesian economy, culinary is believed to have great opportunities for development. However, surviving in this sector is not easy.

As one of the witnesses to the ups and downs of the culinary sector in Indonesia since 1974, the typical Bandung souvenir shop and legendary bakery Kartika Sari have proven their consistency to this day. With its unique Banana Bolen menu as one of its favorites, Kartika Sari always consistently maintains product quality and continues to innovate over time.

Understanding this, BlueBand gave a plaque of appreciation “50th Golden Anniversary Partnership” to Kartika Sari for the cooperation between the two parties that has existed for 50 years.

Stephen Luchterhand, President Director of PT. Flora Food Indonesia, which is the producer of BlueBand, expressed its gratitude to Kartika Sari for trusting the margarine brand for the last 50 years.

“50 years is certainly not a short time. For this reason, on behalf of the BlueBand family, we would like to thank you for your trust. “We are also proud that BlueBand, as a margarine pioneer in Indonesia, has accompanied and supported Kartika Sari’s journey in providing quality products and services to customers since 1974,” explained Stephen in a recent written statement.

Ratnawati as owner of Kartika Sari also expressed gratitude and pride for handing over the “50th Golden Anniversary Partnership” plaque from BlueBand.

“This appreciation is very valuable and can provide additional motivation for us to continue to provide quality products and services. “Starting from a hobby of exploring various cake and bread recipes at home, finally our business started to be known by word of mouth and we were able to set up our own shop,” said Ratnawati.

“One thing that Kartika Sari has maintained from the past until today is that quality products can only be made from quality raw materials. Therefore, Kartika Sari is consistent in continuing to collaborate with BlueBand,” he continued.

Meanwhile, Marketing Director PT. Flora Food Indonesia Ade Savitri explained that the handover of this appreciation plaque also confirms BlueBand’s commitment to not only providing quality products for consumers, but also providing solutions for the development of Indonesian culinary businesses.
