Material:
- 1 kg potatoes (peeled, cut)
- 100 ml milk
- 1 clove of garlic (crushed or grated)
- 50 gr butter (cut into small pieces)
How to make mashed potatoes garlic
- Put the potato pieces in a large saucepan, cover with cold water and season with salt. Cook the potatoes over high heat until they boil, then reduce the heat and cook for 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are soft and easily pierced with a knife.
- Drain, then leave the potatoes in the pan to steam until dry for about five minutes. Next, mash the potatoes using a mash tool (potato masher).
- In a separate pan, combine milk, garlic and butter, then cook over low heat.
- Add the milk and butter mixture to the pan containing the mashed potatoes, stir well using a wooden spoon or spatula until the butter melts and the texture mashed potatoes so it’s smooth too creamy. Lift, serve.
