KOMPAS.com – It doesn’t take long, stir-fry oncom can be made simply with two cooking steps.
The oncom is sautéed first, added with leunca and basil leaves which make the aroma of this dish even more evocative.
Stir-fried oncom is delicious served while warm so you can cook it immediately before lunch or dinner.

Material:
- 2 pieces of red oncom 8 cm x 10 cm (wash, crush)
- 100 gr leunca
- 50 gr basil leaves
- 5 red chilies and green chilies (thinly sliced)
- 10 cayenne peppers
- 8 red onions (thinly sliced)
- 3 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 piece of crushed galangal
- 1 tsp shrimp paste
- Salt to taste
- Sugar to taste
How to make stir-fried oncom
1. Saute the shallots and garlic in a little oil until yellowish. Add shrimp paste, chilies, bay leaves, galangal and oncom. Stir well.
2. Reduce the heat, cook while stirring until slightly dry, add leunca and basil. Remove after it is cooked and dry.
