Material
- 2 fingers of fresh brotowali stem
- 2 glasses of clean water
- Honey or palm sugar (optional)
How to Make Brotowali Tea to Maintain the Body’s Immunity
- Wash 2 fingers of fresh brotowali stems to remove any dirt stuck to them.
- Cut the brotowali stems into small pieces to make it easier to boil.
- Place the brotowali stem pieces in a pan containing 2 glasses of clean water.
- Boil the brotowali stems over medium heat until the water reduces to about 1 cup.
- Once cooked, remove the pan and let the cooking water warm.
- Strain the boiled water into a cup to separate the dregs of the brotowali stems.
- Add honey or palm sugar to taste if you want to reduce the bitter taste.
