KOMPAS.com – Black sticky rice green bean porridge can be a warm and filling breakfast menu.
The combination of slightly sweet black sticky rice, plus savory green beans gives its own taste to the tongue.

Material:
- 200 gr black sticky rice (wash clean)
- 1 1/2 liters of water
- 170 gr combed brown sugar
- 100 gr granulated sugar
- 4 pandan leaves (sump)
- 200 gr green beans (boil until cooked, drain)
Sauce ingredients:
- 500 ml coconut milk from 1 coconut
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch or cornstarch (dissolve in a little coconut milk)
- 2 pandan leaves
- 120 gr granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Mix the black sticky rice porridge that has been washed with water, brown sugar, granulated sugar and pandan leaves in a saucepan. Cook until the texture softens like porridge.
- Sauce. Mix coconut milk, pandan leaves, granulated sugar and salt in a pan, then boil. Wait until it boils, then pour in the cornstarch solution. Mix well.
- Pour the boiled green beans and black sticky rice porridge into a bowl, top with the sauce. Serve while warm with fresh bread.
