Fresh and Healthy Tamarind Turmeric Recipe to Try at Home

Fresh Turmeric Tamarind Recipe

Material

  • 15 grams of tamarind leaves
  • 15 grams of kandis tamarind
  • 20 grams of turmeric
  • 100 grams of ant sugar
  • 800 cc of hot water

How to Make Fresh Turmeric Tamarind

  1. Wash the tamarind leaves thoroughly to remove any dirt stuck to them.
  2. Soak tamarind leaves in 300 cc of hot water for ± 10 minutes until the aroma and taste of tamarind come out.
  3. Peel the turmeric, then put the turmeric and kandis tamarind into a blender along with the filtered tamarind leaf water.
  4. Blend the mixture for 2 minutes until smooth.
  5. Strain the blender results into a container, then mix with the remaining hot water.
  6. Add ant sugar to taste and stir until dissolved.
  7. Turmeric tamarind juice is ready to be served warm or cold, according to taste.
