- 2 medium sized pieces of ginger, bruised
- 1 medium sized fresh lemon, cut into pieces
- Cinnamon ±6 cm
- 6 star anise flowers (pekak)
- ±3 glasses of water
- Honey to taste
- Prepare a pan, pour 3 glasses of water, and heat it until it boils.
- Wash the ginger thoroughly and slice it thinly, then bruise it so that the aroma and taste come out to the maximum.
- Cut fresh lemons into small pieces to facilitate the flavor extraction process.
- Arrange the ginger slices, lemon slices, cinnamon and star anise in a heatproof bowl.
- Pour boiling water into a bowl until all ingredients are covered.
