Eat jumbo portions of Korean dishes in Jakarta, the spices are quite medok


JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The original taste of Korean dishes is quite different from Indonesian. This typical Indonesian dish is famous for its strong taste, color and aroma.

Meanwhile, even though they are both Asian countries, authentic Korean dishes are generally not as delicious as Indonesian food.

A combination of Korean food with typical Indonesian flavors can be enjoyed at Taeyang Sung Grand Indonesia.

Jumbo portion

When the food was served one by one, I was quite surprised by the jumbo portions. Because, according to Iyas, the chef at Taeyang Sung, each meal is usually enjoyed by one person, not shared portions (sharing).

Jjjangmyeon, for example. The noodles with black soybean paste sauce are served separately: the yellow noodles and soy sauce, on one large plate.

These noodles must be stirred immediately when served because they harden quite quickly. As a result, it is difficult to stir the noodles if they sit for too long.

The taste of this food tends to be sweet. There is only a little savory because the main ingredient in the sauce is soybean paste.

The texture of the noodles made directly in the restaurant is slightly chewy and not easy to cut. So, I had to use scissors to make it easier to pick up the noodles.

I found shrimp, green mussels, and peeled mussels while stirring the noodles, which were no less large in portions.

Gul Jjampong tastes delicious and spicy when eaten. The taste really entered my tongue, which is used to enjoying Indonesian dishes with a medok taste.

So the difference between two typical Korean noodle dishes, jjampong And jjangmeyon, It can be seen from the presentation of soup and no soup, as well as the taste.
