Recipe for Stir-fry Tempe Shrimp with Chickpeas, a Practical Side Dish for the Weekend

This dish combines the deliciousness of shrimp, tempeh and green beans combined with simple spices but still appetizing.

Ingredients for sautéed bean shrimp tempeh:

  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 3 large red chilies (cut into 1 centimeter pieces)
  • 8 red onions (sliced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (sliced)
  • 2 centimeters galangal (bruised)
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 200 grams of shrimp (remove the shell, leaving the tail)
  • 300 grams tempeh (diced)
  • 15 string beans (cut into 2 centimeters)
  • 5 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper

How to make stir-fried bean shrimp tempeh:

1. Heat oil in a pan then saute red chilies, green chilies, shallots, garlic, galangal and bay leaves until fragrant. After that, add the prawns and stir-fry until the prawns change color.

2. Add tempeh, green beans, sweet soy sauce, salt and ground pepper, then cook briefly until the vegetables are wilted. Check the seasoning again then turn off the stove and serve while warm.
