Jakarta, CNN Indonesia — After fasting all day, of course one of the most sought after things is a fresh drink. Not surprisingly, the fast breaking drink was the first to be sought after the breaking fast prayer was said.
If you are bored with foods for breaking the fast such as compote or just syrup, chef Yuda Bustara shares recipes for other fresh drinks that can be made quickly.
Named Coco Orange, Yuda said that this drink is very fresh because it combines the aroma of coconut juice with orange.
“It’s also very easy to make, but you can provide a different menu when breaking the fast,” said Yuda.
Yuda also shared the recipe for making coco oranges at a press conference in Jakarta.
Material:
– 3 Mandarin or Valencia or Sunkist oranges
– 30 grams of nata de coco
– 60 grams of canned peaches
– Ice
– Honey
– Mint leaves
How to make:
– Squeeze the orange
– Mix the orange juice with canned peaches then blend a little. “Don’t make it too smooth. The goal is just to give it a little texture,” said Yuda.
– Put ice cubes and nata de coco into the glass.
– Pour the orange and peach mixture into the glass.
– If it’s not sweet enough, add enough honey.
– Add mint leaves to make the drink smell more appetizing.
