Sego, which means rice, is served here in a unique way using coconut leaves that resemble bird’s nests. This menu is a mainstay and is still cooked traditionally to maintain the taste.
Sego nest is usually only found during kenduren in Java, but at this stall, this menu is served every day. The chicken served is also grilled using mahogany wood, creating a distinctive taste. Not surprisingly, dozens of chickens are sold out every day.
Apart from ingkung, this stall also offers soup menus, such as Garang Asem, which is equipped with pieces of starfruit, giving freshness to the soup. There is also a menu of Mangut Manyung, Tilapia Fish Pepes, and various snacks such as fried bananas which you must try while enjoying the shady and cool shady atmosphere.
This stall is open every day, with menu prices starting from IDR 20,000.
