This event aims to further encourage the growth of the food and beverage industry, which is currently growing and continues to show positive trends every year. This is marked by the growth in the number of participants participating not only at home but also abroad.
Krista Exhibitions Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Daud D. Salim said the exhibition would showcase innovation in the food, beverage, catering, hotel, restaurant, cafe and bakery sectors, with more than 1,200 participants from 25 countries, including 150 MSMEs from various regions that will introduce their superior products.
“Exhibition participants are increasing every year from more than 25 countries and this is an opportunity for domestic business actors to introduce local food and beverage products to become increasingly well known because they will compete with international products,” said Daud after the SIAL Interfood 2024 press conference, Friday ( 8/11/2024) afternoon.
He said the event was targeted to attract 90,000 visitors in four days. Apart from that, it also encourages participants and visitors to innovate, especially in the culinary field. “Through this exhibition, opportunities for stronger collaboration between industry players are created, increasing the competitiveness of local products, and supporting national food security,” he said.
“The Sial Interfood 2024 Exhibition will also be held in conjunction with the Seafood Show Asia Expo 2024, All Indonesia CoolTech Expo 2024 and INAShop Expo 2024, providing a richer and more varied experience for visitors through the diversity of products and services offered,” he said.
He explained that the event would present various stakeholders, from producers to distributors. They will gather at this event to exchange knowledge and technology that can support efficiency in the food production and distribution process.
Krista Exhibitions continues to encourage business matching between local and international business actors and also invites buyers from abroad. SIAL Interfood 2024 is also a source of inspiration for young entrepreneurs who want to enter the food and beverage (F&B) industry.
