Churros dough can be fried immediately after making it, but you can also store it overnight in an airtight container in the refrigerator first. When you want to fry them, remove the churros from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature first.

- Enough oil (for frying)
- 236 ml water
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 120 gr flour
- 1/4 tsp cake pudding (baking powder)
- Sugar or honey for sweetness (optional)
- Pour enough oil into a large frying pan, make sure there is enough oil so that the churros can float when fried. Heat using medium-high heat, wait until the temperature is between 176 degrees Celsius to 190 degrees Celsius.
- In a saucepan, combine water, vegetable oil, salt, and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, add the flour and baking powderstir until evenly mixed.
- Once the water mixture has boiled, slowly pour it into the flour mixture while stirring. Continue to stir using a fork until it becomes a smooth, lump-free dough.
- Take the dough, put it in a pastry bag.
- After the oil reaches a temperature of 176 degrees Celsius or 190 degrees Celsius, add the mixture to the pan. Fry until golden brown in color. Remove, cut the churros according to taste, sprinkle with sugar or coat with honey.
