3 Ways to Cook Nutrijell so it doesn’t clump, Adjust the Stove Fire


JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Even though it looks simple, cooking the jelly wrong can make the texture lumpy or even too soft.

1. Don’t turn on the stove fire yet

Ria said, just put Nutrijell jelly powder in a pan, then add sugar and water according to the instructions on the package.

“After that, just light the fire while stirring so it dissolves easily,” said Ria in an exclusive interview at Senayan Park (Spark), Central Jakarta, Friday (8/11/2024).

According to him, the mistake that often occurs when cooking powdered jelly is turning on the stove at the start so that the texture becomes lumpy.

2. Mix with other ingredients

In order to get a new taste when enjoying this jelly dish, you can make creations by adding fruit or cheese.

“The Dark Choco variant of Nutrijell is suitable for mixing anything. It can be mixed with biscuits, milk, cheese and fruit,” he said.

Ria recommends strawberries, oranges, and peaches (persimmon) to combine with Nutrijell.

3. Pair with biscuits

Raisa revealed that she usually makes jelly pudding creations with crushed biscuits.

“When I like to make it, I use crushed milk biscuits or chocolate biscuits on the bottom, then put jelly on top, so it has a different texture when eaten,” said Raisa.
