Jakarta (ANTARA) – Food product Indomie collaborates with the South Korean idol group NewJeans as global brand ambassadors or global product ambassadors through the “Oh My Good! It’s Indomie” campaign while also launching the new Indomie Korean Ramyeon Series product.
In its official statement in Jakarta, Monday, NewJeans was chosen as the global product ambassador because of its modern, energetic and fresh musical style and visual aesthetics which are relevant for Gen-Z. Apart from that, it is hoped that this collaboration will bring a positive spirit that is relevant to the young generation in Indonesia and all corners of the world.
“We feel excited as the first brand in Southeast Asia to collaborate with them, NewJeans’ music and personality are relevant to K-pop fans and the general public,” said Director of PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) Axton Salim.

He added, “This is a big step for Indomie to expand the global market and remain relevant to the dynamic young generation.”
Apart from appointing NewJeans as global product ambassador, Indomie also launched the new Indomie Korean Ramyeon Series product. This product consists of three new flavor variants, namely spicy ramyeon, fiery chikin, and K-Rose.
The spicy ramyeon flavor variant comes with a typical spicy Korean soup sensation, then fiery chikin with a typical Korean fried chicken taste and a combination of spicy, sweet, salty, savory flavors, and K-Rose which provides a spicy creamy flavor combination.
The five members of NewJeans, namely Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein, as global product ambassadors greeted the public through a congratulatory video for this collaboration. In the future, Indomie’s campaign video with NewJeans will also be shown on various occasions.
