Until now, the Carolina Reaper still holds the record as the hottest chili in the world. This chili was cultivated by farmer Ed Currie in America.

Grown in Australia, the strength of the spicy flavor of Trinidad Scorpion Butch T is likely influenced by the use of ‘fluid runoff from worm farms’ as fertilizer.
This fertilizer, known as ‘worm juice’, contains nutrients, plant growth hormones, as well as chitin from dead insects, which helps stimulate the plant’s natural defense system.
