From the information gathered, NAN (25), who is a salon employee, was the sender of the poisonous satay.
NAN initially wanted to send the satay which had previously been sprinkled with KCN poison to T’s house, or what was known as Tomi.
“But because T didn’t feel like ordering, his wife asked Mr. Bandiman to bring the food back. In the end, the whole family ate it,” said Burhan.
Burhan confirmed that Tomi was a police officer based at the Yogyakarta Police. NAN fell in love with Tomi, but it turned out that Tomi married another woman and finally felt hurt.
This heartache is what triggered NAN to send satay which had been sprinkled with solid KCN (cyanide) in the seasoning.
Burhan admitted that he did not know the target of the poisonous satay before it was finally eaten by Bandiman, resulting in the death of Bandiman’s second child. They are still investigating whether Tomi or Tomi’s wife was the target of the poisoned food.
“We are still investigating,” he said.
Burhan revealed that Tomi and the perpetrator had indeed had a relationship, but that took place before marriage. They also do not yet know in detail the extent of their relationship. However, he emphasized that NAN was not pregnant in their relationship.
