Recipe for Wet Fried Ifumie Crispy on the Outside, Soft on the Inside

Moist fried ifumie recipe

Material

  • 400 grams of instant noodles or egg noodles, boiled and drained
  • Enough oil to fry the noodles
  • Enough oil for frying
  • 3 cloves of red onion, puree
  • 5 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 1 segment of ginger, bruised
  • 100 grams chicken meat, cut into small pieces
  • 100 grams of shrimp, peeled and cleaned
  • 5 fish balls, cut into pieces
  • 1 stalk of green mustard greens, cut into pieces
  • 100 grams cauliflower, cut into pieces
  • 1 carrot, thinly sliced
  • 4 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp chicken stock powder
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch, dissolved in a little water
  • 500 ml water

How to make wet fried ifumie

  1. Boil 400 grams of instant noodles or egg noodles until cooked. Drain the noodles and fry until dry and crispy on the outside. Remove and drain, then arrange on a serving plate.
  2. Heat oil, saute garlic, shallots, ginger and pepper until fragrant. Add the chicken pieces, meatballs and shrimp, then stir until they change color.
  3. Add water, tomato sauce, pepper, sugar and soy sauce. Stir well and cook until boiling. Add vegetables such as mustard greens, carrots and cauliflower to the sauce, then cook until the vegetables are cooked.
  4. Dissolve cornstarch in a little water, then pour into the sauce to thicken. Stir well and cook until the sauce thickens completely.
  5. Pour the fried noodles with hot sauce along with the meat and vegetable filling. Serve while warm for 4 people.
