There are many types and colors of eggplant. There are round and elliptical ones and are green, white and purple. Actually, what is the original color of eggplant?
Eggplant or eggplant, which has the Latin name Solanum melongena, is a fruit which is then classified as a vegetable. Many grow in India and several other Asian countries.

The purple color of eggplant is caused by the presence of anthocyanins in it. Anthocyanin is a pigment that can give color to plants.
