Founder & Group CEO Baba Rafi Enterprise Hendy Setiono who attended this event had the opportunity to deliver a scientific oration entitled Gastrodiplomacy for MSME Culinary Work. According to him, culinary arts can be an entry point to introduce Indonesian culture while improving people’s welfare.
“Gastrodiplomacy is an important step in introducing Indonesian culture and taste to the international arena and adapting to the digital world,” he said, Sunday (27/10/2024).
Apart from Hendy Setiono, there was also KH. Anwar Iskandar, General Chair of the Pancasila Muslim Scholars Foundation (YBCMP) Kediri who has just been appointed as General Chair of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) for the 2023-2025 period. In his speech, KH. Anwar Iskandar also reminded the importance of maintaining Islamic values and ethics in mastering modern technology, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), according to the theme being promoted.
On the same occasion, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was also signed between Baba Rafi Enterprise and the Chancellor of Uniska Kediri, Prof. Dr. Bambang Yulianto regarding the Independent Internship Program. Through this collaboration, Uniska Kediri students are expected to gain direct experience and industry insight that can strengthen their skills.
The graduation atmosphere looked solemn but lively, with high enthusiasm from the graduates and their families who attended. This graduation not only marks the end of studies for students, but also becomes a momentum to equip them with insight and encouragement towards making a real contribution to nation building.
