TRIBUNNEWS.COM – A rendang seller from Depok, West Java, admitted that he was shocked after his merchandise was ordered by Fadli Zon and Fahri Hamzah.
The woman named Peni, initially made a thread on Twitter about Fadli Zon ordering her rendang, because it started from likes.
“Mr Fadlizon, you liked my rendang post, did you buy it or not.”
“That’s right. Like my pinned tweet. I’m sure this is a sign that Mr. Fadlizon wants to buy rendang from me to fuel the spirit of the sleeping Asian tiger,” he wrote in the @peni_me account, Tuesday (23/6/2020).
Before getting the order, Peni wasn’t sure if Fadli Zon would buy the rendang.
He was also surprised after receiving a good response from Fadli Zon.
“It was also a surprise that Mr. Fadli Zon was pleased to order our rendang,” he said when contacted Tribunnews.comThursday (25/6/2020).
“That’s why, when he DMed me (direct message), I was shocked and laughed,” he continued.
Peni revealed that Fadli Zon ordered 3 kg of rendang, which was wrapped into 6 packages.
So, the price of Fadli’s rendang order is IDR 930 thousand.
If you add the delivery fee of IDR 96 thousand, then Fadli Zon has to pay IDR 1,026,000.
However, Fadli Zon deliberately paid Rp. 1,050,000, without asking for the money back.

After writing a tweet about the rendang ordered by Fadli Zon, Peni then revealed that Fahri Hamzah also ordered his merchandise.
“Here, Mr. Fadlizon’s buying friend has also done it,” he wrote while uploading a photo of Fahri Hamzah holding his rendang product.
When contacted Tribunnews.comPeni said, Fahri Hamzah did not immediately respond after the rendang was sent.
“As for Mr. Fahri, we will send him rendang at the end of 2019,” he continued.
At that time, Peni had to first send a message to Fahri Hamzah so that the politician would buy his rendang.
“For Mr. Fahri, I DMed him first and the process took quite a long time,” he explained.
