Not only chicken satay, you can use various other basic ingredients to make satay. Here are three satay recipes that are suitable to accompany New Year’s Eve:
1. Chicken Satay
Marinade ingredients:
500 grams of chicken breast
2 tbsp thick coconut milk
1 tbsp peanut butter
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1 tsp powdered chicken stock
Pureed ingredients:
4 red onions
2 garlic
1/2 teaspoon coriander
Peanut sauce ingredients:
300 ml water
3 full tablespoons of peanut butter
3 tbsp sweet soy sauce
2 tbsp fried onions
1/4 tsp salt
Other ingredients:
20 skewers
sweet soy sauce
red onion (sliced)
cayenne pepper (sliced)
fried onions
How to make:
1. Cut the chicken breast according to taste, can be cut into squares or thin and lengthwise, then set aside
2. Blend the spices into powder
3. Marinate the chicken with the ground spices
4. Add all the marinade ingredients and stir until all the spices are mixed evenly into the chicken, wait 30 minutes
5. While waiting for marination, prepare 300 ml water, 3 tablespoons full of peanut butter, 3 tablespoons sweet soy sauce, 2 tablespoons fried onions, and ¼ teaspoon salt or salt according to taste, then stir well.
6. Pour the peanut sauce into the skillet and cook over low heat until the sauce thickens and releases a fragrant aroma
