Simple, Savory and Crispy Salted Egg Fried Shrimp Recipe

Salted egg fried shrimp recipe

Material

  • 350 grams of medium prawns, heads removed
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tsp salt
  • Enough oil for frying and sautéing
  • 5 salted egg yolks, puree

Salted egg seasoning

  • 15 red cayenne peppers
  • 10 red onion cloves
  • 8 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground pepper

How to make salted egg fried shrimp

  1. Wash the shrimp clean, then coat with lime juice and 2 teaspoons salt. Let sit for 10 minutes, then rinse the shrimp thoroughly and drain.
  2. Heat enough oil, then fry the shrimp until cooked. Lift and drain.
  3. Heat a little more oil, then saute the cayenne pepper, shallots and garlic until fragrant. Add the mashed salted egg yolk, stir until evenly mixed.
  4. Add the fried shrimp to the salted egg sauce, stir until the shrimp are evenly coated with the sauce. Serve while warm.
