Recommendations for Culinary Tourism on the 2023 Eid Al-Fitr Homecoming Route, from Ngawi to Pasuruan


Liputan6.com, Jakarta – The Eid al-Fitr 2023 homecoming moment is incomplete without a culinary tour along the homecoming route. After previously being discussed in the Cilegon, Serang, Karawang, Cirebon, Brebes, Tegal, Pemalang, Pekalongan, Batang, Semarang, Salatiga and Solo areas, now the recommendation has shifted to Ngawi, Kertosono, Mojokerto, Surabaya and Pasuruan.

Ngawi

Ngawi Regency is a district in East Java Province, Indonesia. The capital is Ngawi District. This district borders Grobogan Regency, Blora Regency (both of which are part of Central Java Province), and Bojonegoro Regency in the north, Madiun Regency in the east, Magetan Regency and Madiun Regency in the south, and Sragen Regency and Karanganyar Regency (Central Java) in the west.

Culinary recommendations:

1. Tepo Tahu Mbah Nem

Tepo is a food that looks the same as lontong, only the shape is different and the texture is softer. Meanwhile, egg tofu is made from tofu mixed with eggs and fried.

2. Lethok Mbah Jan Pecel Rice

Apart from its delicious taste, by maintaining the culture of using leaves as a form of presentation, this stall has been named by Ngawi Regency as the Most Favorite Ngawi Specialty Culinary.

3. Pak Lancur Sate Gule

The satay here has a very soft texture, large size, and lots of spices.
