Hundreds of mothers even held a demonstration in front of Gajahmungkur District. They also brought cooking utensils and a piece of paper that said “Don’t Harass Us Mothers”.
According to one of their representatives, the fried rice cooking competition had a positive impact on community harmony.
“Those who don’t like it, don’t be jealous,” said one demonstrator.
