Easy and fail-proof Rendang recipe for Eid, here’s the seasoning – Page all

This rendang recipe is suitable for you to try at home during Eid.

Ingredients

Material

  • 500 grams of gandik meat, cut against the grain

  • 1 turmeric leaf, tied in a knot
  • 5 lime leaves, remove the leaf bones
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 pieces deaf
  • 2 cm cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 60 grams coconut serundeng, puree
  • 600 ml thick coconut milk from 2 coconuts
  • 1500 ml liquid coconut milk from thick coconut milk

Ground spices

  • 4 candlenuts, roasted
  • 10 curly red chilies
  • 5 large red chilies
  • 12 red onions
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 3 cm ginger
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 teaspoons coriander

Manufacturing Steps

  1. 1. Boil liquid coconut milk with galangal, lemongrass, turmeric leaves, lime leaves, bay leaves, deaf, cinnamon and ground spices until fragrant.

  2. Add meat. Stir until the meat changes color.

  3. Add salt and brown sugar. Stir well. Cook over low heat, stirring gently until the sauce thickens.

  4. Add the coconut serundeng. Stir well. Reduce heat.

  5. Pour in thick coconut milk. Cook over low heat while stirring until oily.
