  • 120 grams of beef
  • 20 grams of tomatoes
  • 5 grams of celery
  • 5 grams of spring onions
  • 30 grams of coconut milk
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Fried onions

Ground spices

  • 1 piece of turmeric
  • 6 red chilies
  • 5 candlenuts
  • 10 cloves of garlic
  • 10 red onion cloves

Flavoring

  • 1 stalk lemongrass
  • Half a stalk of galangal
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 lime leaves

Manufacturing Steps

  1. Dice the beef

  2. Boil the beef until tender, add salt and pepper to taste

  3. Crush the seasonings, set aside

  4. Blend the spices

  5. Heat a pan and add enough oil

  6. Saute over low heat the ground spices and seasonings until fragrant

  7. When it smells good, add the boiled meat and stir until the aroma comes out

  8. When the aroma comes out, add 100 ml of water and stir until evenly distributed

  9. Once cooked and boiling, add the coconut milk

  10. Stir the Gultik so that the coconut milk doesn’t break

  11. Add tomatoes, spring onions and celery leaves. Cook until it boils again and the aroma comes out

  12. Gultik is ready to be served with rice and a sprinkling of fried onions
