Bali – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is still attending the IMF-World Bank annual meeting at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC). In between the meeting, Jokowi took a short break while sipping coffee with the ministers.
Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat bey Machmudin said, after sending off Vietnamese PM Nguyễn Xuân Phúc to leave BNDCC, Friday (12/10/2018), President Jokowi toured the BNDCC area. He then stopped at Taman Jepun which is located between BNDCC 1 and BNDCC 2.
“In the park, which is a culinary area, the President was seen chatting casually with several of his ministers while sipping Indonesian coffee from one of the stalls there,” said Bey in a written statement received detikcomFriday (12/10/2018).

The ministers who drank coffee with Jokowi were Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Wiranto, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Industry Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Trade Inggartiasto Lukita and Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno LP Marsudi. Also present were Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Presidential Special Staff Ari Dwipayana and Johan Budi SP.

Bey explained that apart from serving authentic Indonesian coffee, the coffee kiosk that Jokowi and the minister stopped at also provided free coffee to raise funds for disaster victims in Palu, Donggala and surrounding areas.
“This means that by enjoying the free coffee, you are indirectly helping to collect donations for earthquake victims in Central Sulawesi,” said Bey.

After taking a short break, Jokowi then returned to the meeting room to attend to the next agenda. “On his way to the meeting room, the President responded to requests for selfies from people present at BNDCC,” said Bey.
