How to Make Popcorn, Simple Snack Recipe with Only 4 Ingredients


KOMPAS.com – If you want to eat a practical and simple snack, popcorn (popcorn) could be one solution. You can also season it according to your taste, whether sweet or salty.

The ingredients required for this recipe are oil, corn, salt, and sugar. The selected oil should have high smoke point (high smoke point), for example avocado oil, grapeseed oil, or vegetable oil.

Material:

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 58 gr popcorn kernels or corn (divide)
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt

How to make popcorn

  1. Pour the vegetable oil and some of the corn into a large, tall skillet, then heat over medium-high heat for about four minutes until you hear a sound. pop.
  2. Add the remaining corn and sugar to the pan. Cover, then turn off the stove heat. Shake and swirl the pan for about 30 seconds so the popcorn is coated in the oil and sugar.
