Mataram City BPBD Gathering Point Fried Rice, This Is What It Means During a Disaster


SuaraBali.id – A food menu was created by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

The name of the menu is Nasi Goreng Titik Kumpul.

Point Kumpul Fried Rice is used as part of community education and outreach in disaster mitigation efforts.

“We make Titik Kumpul Fried Rice using simple, easy and cheap ingredients, but has a balanced nutritional composition,” said Head of Mataram City BPBD Mahfuddin Noor in Mataram, Wednesday (23/8/2023).

The Titik Gumpul Fried Rice menu was created by BPBD during a seafood fried rice cooking competition between Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) throughout the City of Mataram in order to welcome the 30th anniversary of the City of Mataram on August 31 2023.

The idea of ​​Titik Kumpul Fried Rice is the implementation of BPBD as the leading OPD in the disaster sector.

Usually when there is a disaster, he continued, BPBD will provide for community needs, including preparing food in public kitchens for residents affected by the disaster at gathering points or evacuation sites.

“So eating fried rice will be more delicious while getting together,” he said.

The ingredients used besides white rice, eggs, vegetables, basic spices, also use tuna as a complement to fulfill the animal protein element according to the theme of seafood fried rice.

“We chose tuna because it is the main catch of fishermen in Mataram City, it is cheap and we can get it easily,” he said.

Meanwhile, regarding Gathering Points, the existence of gathering points in Mataram City, according to Mahfudin, to date all public buildings have gathering points, such as schools, offices and other public areas, including disaster-prone areas on the coast.

“The gathering points installed in public areas have also been educated, not just installed. So they know that when there is a disaster, they have to follow the evacuation route signs to the gathering point,” he said. (BETWEEN)
