1. Avoid drinking coffee in the afternoon and evening
Coffee contains high amounts of caffeine which can provide an energy boost and help you stay alert.
However, if taken too late in the afternoon or evening, caffeine can interfere with sleep quality, which has the potential to trigger health problems.
If you want a hot drink in the afternoon, choose tea that contains less caffeine or decaffeinated coffee.
2. Don’t add too much sugar
Coffee is basically healthy, but excessive added sugar can reduce its benefits.
Excess sugar, especially because of the fructose content, can cause various serious diseases such as obesity and diabetes. If you can’t drink coffee without sweetness, consider a natural sweetener like stevia.
