8 Suitable Ingredients for Vegetable Salad, Lots of Nutrient Content


KOMPAS.com – Apart from being processed into cooking, vegetables can also be enjoyed as vegetable salads, usually for diet purposes.

Some ingredients that are suitable to include in vegetable salad ingredients include lettuce, cabbage, carrots and cucumber.

1. Lettuce leaves

The contents of lettuce leaves include vitamins and minerals, fiber, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sulforaphane, beta-carotene, vitamin E.

Lettuce leaves are suitable as a salad ingredient because they don’t need to be cooked, apart from that they improve digestion, increase the body’s immunity by creating an alkaline condition, overcome anemia, and reduce the risk of cancer.

2. Kapri

Peas can also be used as an ingredient in vegetable salad. Contains beta-carotene, chlorophyll, vitamins B1 and B2, vitamin C, phosphorus, potassium, fiber and pectin, as well as protease inhibitors.

The health benefits of peas can improve the function of the digestive organs, relieve constipation and hemorrhoid disorders, reduce the risk of cancer and help overcome cancer.

3. Potatoes

Not only for soup, cabbage is also suitable for vegetable salads because it contains vitamins C, E, beta-carotene, potassium, calcium, fiber and sulforaphane.

Cabbage can improve immunity, reduce the risk of cancer and help overcome cancer, reduce the risk of bone loss, and control blood sugar levels.

7. Carrots
