7 Most Effective Kitchen Spices to Repel Rats, Guaranteed to Won’t Come Again

It’s natural that mice are not liked by humans in the world. The reason is, it is not uncommon for rats to make the house dirty and carry many diseases.

Rats are one of the animals that most disturb humans. Not only does it live in sewers or gardens, but it can also nest in houses. Even in the kitchen to look for food and hide.

There are many ways to get rid of rats, you can use rat poison, rat traps and even electronic rat repellent devices. But it is not effective in repelling mice.

The good news is, there are many natural ways to get rid of mice. One way is to simply use several ingredients that are almost always found in the kitchen.

Here are some of the most effective mouse repellent kitchen ingredients.

1. Chili

Quoting A to Z Animals, chilies are effective in making it difficult for mice to breathe properly. You can mix chili spray to repel mice.

Boil the chilies in boiling water, then puree them. Add the ground chilies and water to a container then mix until evenly mixed.

Close the container and let it sit for 24 hours. Use hot pepper spray to keep mice away.

2. Bay leaves

Bay leaves can be consumed by humans, but not by rats. Rats are often fooled by the fragrant aroma of bay leaves. Bay leaves will also choke mice.

Prepare dry bay leaves, then sprinkle them in the corners and entrance area. Replace every five days to trap mice optimally.

3. Baking soda

Prepare flour, sugar and baking soda in equal quantities. Mix well, and the mixture is ready to be used as bait.

Sugar can attract mice, then baking soda makes mice suffer instantly.

4. Onions, shallots and garlic

Various types of onions are effective in naturally repelling mice. The pungent aroma of onions plays a good role in repelling mice.

Peel and slice the desired type of onion. Then, place it in a place where mice usually nest.
